Switching Product Option (Package) or Product on an existing booking

If you want to take an existing booking and change it to a different Product Option OR Product you can follow these steps:

1. Open the Booking's "Inventory" tab.

2. If the Booking currently has some inventory allocated, you will first need to click 'Clear Booked Inventory' at the bottom of the page.

3. After clearing the inventory, you will have a button to change Product. If you just wish to switch to a different Product Option (Package) then click the "Add Inventory Allocation" button and set the new Product Option in the dialog that appears.

Please note that if you're changing a Booking one Product to another and that booking has some documentation attached (uploads and forms) using the Product Documentation feature then this will not be preserved once the Booking is pointing to the new product. 

In this case, it might be preferable to do the following:
1) copy the booking to create a new booking against the new product. The new booking will include a link back to the original booking.
2) Re-book any previously booked add-ons via the new booking's "Inventory" tab.
3) Recreate any payment transactions against the new booking.
4) Cancel the first booking but keep it in the system to preserve the documentation uploads and forms.
